Default Re-discovering diving!

Hey guys,

I was originally certified in 1971 and quit diving around 20 years ago. My sons just completed their Advanced Open Water so they convinced "dad" to get back at it. So after a PADI refresher course and a couple of dives on "The Morrison" with my sons, I went our and got some gear and I'm back diving and loving every minute.

I'm really looking forward to checking out some of the local Ontario "hot spots".

But my sons have warned me that most of the fish species I used to enjoy are now extinct :-)

Good to have you back Bob..So have you noticed many differences in the sport since you last took the plunge?

The BC had yet to be invented! We used old navy surplus life jackets with oral inflators and Co2 cartridges (for emergencies).

Plus all the dive sites in southern Ontario...when I was first certified it was Tobermory or nothing!

The sport had come a long way but the best part is having my sons as my buddies!

Cheers!

Bob
