Default Welland Scuba Park Dec 28

Another good dive at the Scuba Park today.

We completed the line from the shoe line to the buick. We also removed the old line out to the buick.

We had out Jean, Joe, Jay, John, Steve, Chris and myself. We had multiple teams doing different tasks it worked out well. Water temp was from 33F to 36F depending on who's bottom timer you looked at. Viz was only about 5ft and there was actually a noticable current. Runtime was 85min.

While the pics below were not from today they might as well been since it's the same work Thanks to Chris for taking the pics.

Joe's bringing me another post to hammer in (Underwater identification can be very hard. 3 guesses how you can always tell it's Joe...)

Here I am hammering in a post for a line placement

Here is Jean. I'm not exactly sure what he's doing but it's not a bad pic

Maybe he's eyeing the Mud Puppy.....

Finally I must be done hammering in the post. Here is Joe (Again how can you always spot Joe underwater) doing the line placement.

Here is a good shot of some of the survey work. Basically all the posts are 50ft apart other than the 2nd post after the start of a line. (We do Post 1, then do the last post and run the line the entire length. We then work back from the end of the line and put a post in every 50ft. The last post we put in is less than 50ft from the start if that makes sense).

Afer a long days work everyone deserves a nice drink.....

Finally here we are on our way back to the surface. You can see Joe is showing the DIR way to carry the main line marker into position. (This was from a different day but it's such a great pic so I had to add it in here).

I'm not really sure how John didn't make it in to any of these pictures. He was there honest.

I actually colour corrected the shoe pic. I played with the colour balances. If you look at it it's a lot less green and you can see a lot of the other colors now.

Ya thanks for that.

I thought the "In Depth Scuba" on my mask strap was a little pink.

Great deal for the price.
