Anyone interested in converting their HID light to an LED?
I just finished converting a 10w HID to a 730 lumen @ 700ma LED with 16.4 Deg Pattern (spot light would be around 8 deg). 1042 Lumens possible @ 1000ma.

Thanks Chris, I am glad you like it. Here are a couple of pictures of the DIY Canister Light that I built. The LED head is the same as yours with the exception that this one has 3, 5 Degree LEDs that produce 550 Lumens at 700ma or 660 Lumens at 1000ma. I plan on selling this one for $600. The light will come with charger and battery pack.

Here are some pictures of a UK400 Dive Light I converted to LED.
The person that owns this light lives in Cuba and did not have the battery or charger, so I added two AA battery holders connected in parallel.

I did a similar conversion of my MR11 to LED.
I posted it here on the Scubaboard.
